It Picked is a free way to decide where to eat. Search a city or use your location. The plate fills with nearby restaurants, cafés, and quick bites from OpenStreetMap. Swipe it, or tap decide, and one place is chosen for you.

Ten places sit on the plate at a time. If the neighborhood has more, New options loads another ten. The winner appears under the wheel with the address, phone, and hours when the map has them. Tap the name to open the restaurant’s website, or the map if no website is listed.

Photos show the kind of food, not an official logo. Hours and phone numbers come from public map data and can be incomplete, so call before you go.

The app is free. Marked ads sit apart from the restaurants and are what can pay for the site. Those ads are not places on the plate, and tapping a restaurant never opens an ad.
